You can get a cheap moon light at AHsupply.com . Its a 13 watt comapact kit with reflecter and everything I have three of them and they work awsome. The kit is only 19 bucks and 7 for the red bulb or blue which ever you want . They light about three feet of tank. I also use some of thier bigger...
