Does the color of the individual LED lights (white, blue, red, green, and yellow) affect algae growth? I bought a LED light fixture with all of the colors. Do you think I should disconnect any colors? I do not want to enhance the growth of algae.

Briefly, why is it not a good idea to put a mixture of salt, declorinator, and tap water directly into your tank (after you mix it in an outside container) when doing a partial water change?

I have a 55 gal fish only tank. I introduced a small piece of live rock recently and very small shrimp seem to be all over my tank now. The fish seem to like hunting them. Is there any problem that I should know about?
