well see, i already have emerald crabs and they stick to one side of the tank (been there since i've had them) so i need to find something else to get to get rid of it.....like i said though, i already have snails and crabs but what is the BEST way to get rid of it.....thanks for the help

Sorry for the long wait on my reply....holiday vacation....Happy Holidays.....well it's a 55 gallon.....and i read that they eat on sponges in Feners: Conscious Marine Aquarist. Is that too small to keep some sponges???? Or a tang (small)???? ALso, what about an angle? Flame in...

I want to keep deepwater inverts in my tank and yet I want a tang as well.....will it be a total disaster if i have him, sponges and dusters in there? I know he will most likely pick at them but if i feed him enough, will it be ok.....i'm asking because i read somewhere that sponges will kill...

that's another good point.....inverts (i didn't think) could be put in the qt as long as you have put copper in the tank, i heard that once you put that in there....you can never have inverts in that tank no matter how much you clean it.....thatnks for the readings....i figured that they had to...

Thanks alot....now i just hope that they still have them.....also, when should i introduce him to my tank....should he be one of the first ones or should i wait and introduce him as one of the last ones???

but what about all the other readings like what do i want the temp at and do all the other rules apply to this tank as well like ammonia and nirate and nitrite????.....also....i should use water from my tank correct??? So it's already at 1.023....i want to bring it to 1.009 and then back up to...

Well, the first reply made it look pretty easy but that second to last one (jcsurfn) Brings up good points. How am i to tell if my fish is okay if he is freaking out to low salinity??? And what should my reading be for a QT? Just starting out....can you tell!!!! Thanks for the help

What is the difference from a hospital tank and a QT? and why do i need one? well, i kinda know why but what all do i need to do to it?
