I have a black 125G All-Glass aquarium with (2) corner overflows. The tank has no cracks or scratches and has never had copper in the tank. I also have a black stand, home made canopy and the glass tops for it. I'm not sure what I want for it yet so make an offer. I am in the Philadelphia area...

Yeah, the basement sould make it easy. I'll make you more jealous, the laundry area is underneath and slightly to the right of the main tank, so no more carring buckets for water changes. Do you think the flow of water will be ok using the depth instead of the length of the tank? cosmo

I'm pondering the idea of adding a refugium to replace my wet/dry filter. I have an extra 55g high tank that I could use to do this, should be big enough for a 125, right? from what I read I'll need a dsb (I'll do 6"), low flow through the refugium, but how low? I was thinking of making it so...

I have a 55g w/overflow that I want to make a refugium. My question is can i take out the plastic overflow and plug the holes in the bottom pane of glass and still have structural integrity? The 55 is about 36"l x 20"hx 18"d. cosmo
