yes it is legal in SERTAN spots such as patch reefs and you can find out from locals and stuff just not within 3 miles of the natonal park but you should be fine other than that. also there are alot of other places you CANNOT collect. ryebread asking a question?!

i finally got a my tank cycling!! i got some stuff in there i just caught at the marina and a damsle couple crabs and a shrimp its almost done! its a 110 gal. about to put some fish in there that we caught in the keys that one of my friends are keeping for us. just thought i would tell you:)

what you mean by where abouts?? the patch reefs?? it was legal i am sure. the patch reefs are not on the map as a reef. but most of the fish i cought very close to shore hidden in spunges and like under ancors and rocks and all that stuff. there were lots of lobsters! we are experenced...

nonononononononononononononoonono i didnt take them from the reefs!!!! i just went snorcleing there and i cought the fish and stuff at patch reefs and other LEGAL places. lol

ive been away from the forums for a while but im back:D i just got back from the keys and it was great we caught 4 juvi french angels and a adult french angel we also caught 2 tophats aka jacknive a couple damsels 3 coral banded shrimp (one pregnant) they were about 2-3 inches long very healthy...

sry for getting your hopes up but since you dont wanna sell me the powerheads i guess i got everything i need thanks for your time.

i need help from you experienced people well can you have a aquaclear filter that has bioballs in a reef tank? i figured i could because its got i built in skimmer (came with the tank) but one of my friends said it wouldnt work because like the bioballs creat more nitrates to kill the nitrites...
