i dont have any live rock and the bottom is currently crushed rock.how long does it take for the sand to settle and would it be ok if i used live sand or do you recommend something else? why do you think i have a large bioload? thanks for your advice.

i bought a small tang two weeks ago. problay about 2 months old.it seems as if the tang is becoming spoty,looseing color in small spots and also looks like the tang is shedding in spots. is this normal? or should i try to treat .if so what is a ggod medicine?
