I forgot to add the BRITTLE STARFISH...took out a small royal gramma, and they are so creepy to watch...they move really fast and horrible to get out. We went through an episode Christmas morning to catch him - ended up using a crab fork to catch him...yuk!!

Though it would be fun to talk about what we REGRET adding to our tanks...my list? 1) Blue Linka Starfish...didn't last long, and nasty when we finally found him. 2) Xenia - this won't stop growing, splitting, etc. 3) Picasso Trigger, had before tank became a reef tank, he was so nice I though...

That's sorta what I thought... however, no most of the BTAs I've seen, the tenticles are 1-2 inches long. This one is about 6" long and about 10" across. Isn't that odd??

We have had this anemone (I call her Annie) since November 02. She's very healthy, and has never moved. The LFS can't agree what it is, can you tell me??? I think maybe a BTA or LTA ?? Here is one pic, I'll post another.

If you are in the Seattle area, the Seattle Aquarium has a Leafy Sea Dragon exhibit on loan from the Denver Aquarium. They have 3 of the dragons in a large tank, each about 12 inches long. Way worth the $11 entrance fee. Though you guys might like to see them, very mystical!

I'm so worried, just got home from work and my blue starfish (about 6 inches in diameter) has one leg missing! It's torn off 1/2 way! I don't know what happened, but what can I do to save him? Please help!

If we keep the Calcium at 450, should the Alkalinity be at 4.5??

We have been keeping the alkalitiy at about 3.5 and the calcium about 360-390. Should we raise those up?

We have about 80 pounds of live rock and about 150 pounds of dead rock we're trying to bring back to life. Other than waiting around for the purple coraline algae to spread, what can we do?? The dead rock is still white after about 4 months...no sign of any color! We're running 3 metal halides...

Can we add a pair of Percula (sp?) clowns into the tank since the other clowns don't come out? The tank is 150 gallons, 6 ft long, 2 feet tall...
