    quietest return pump?

    I have a mag 5 pumps (500gph) in sump cant hear it , outside sump slight hum with doors closed can't hear it. All the mag pumps are very quiet.

The thread also warned about tempered glass and how to check for it. The tank I'm going to drill is not made out of tempered glass so I'm lucky...

    Set-Up for Reef Tank

    Just P/U a 75g all glass fish tank and I would like to drill holes in glass for sump. Can anyone tell me were to put holes L & R side and how far down from the top edge. If I put the holes to far down then it will overflow the sump when power goes off. Sump will be most likely a 20g long :notsure:
