Okay... I have a 1o gallon aquarium, and want to know if there are any "different" types of clowns (other than "normal" clowns like percula and ocellaris clowns) that would be suitable for that size aquarium.
If it matters... I have:
10 gallon sump/refugium
prizm skimmer
small mechanical filter...
If you have a bare_bottom aquarium, and add starbust polyp, sea mat, or any other encrusting soft coral to the bottom of the aquarium, will it grow accross the glass to potentially make a "lawn of coral", or will it not grow on the glass?

Whenever I purchase live rock for a new aquarium...I will just sit there staring deeply at the rock, just observing all the little things that come out and swim around or crawl around while it is being cured... It is just so amazing! Does anybody actually truly appreciate what all can live on...
Recently I have been doing research regarding how to cure live rock. I have found many answers, but many of them are conflicting, for example, Some sources say that lights should be on during the curing, and some say there should be no light at all! I also do not understand if Iam supposed to do...

I have bought about 25 snails(all at different times)and they will not move at all! They just end up dying.They were margarita snails, and I had no nitrates... does anyone have aclue what is wrong?:confused:
I'm getting a 65 gallon tank and I would like to know if 4.5 watts per gallon would be enough to grow coral. Alsohow do you get floating plankton and other things like that in your tank?

I'm thinking of starting a 29 gallon reef aquarium with live rock and sand. Is it ok to use an under-gravel filter with live sand? will it suck the living organisms out of it?:confused:
