    Clown losing mobility.

One of my large, well established female clowns is slowly losing her ability to swim. She does not seem to be able to move anything from her pelvic fin back, almost as if she is becoming paralyzed. The problem started about five days ago, and has progressed daily. I put her in a QT for a few...

    Bubble tip or Sebae?

    H. crispa and E. quads have different requirements. You really need to post your tank info if you would like to get an educated answer.

    Amphiprion mccullochi

It is thought they are only found in the protected waters of a World Heritage site, the collector that is breeding them had to go through a lot of expense and red tape to collect the few pairs he was allowed to.

    sand ritteri

I'm not completely sold on H. crispa, you just have a tough ID, and that one seems the most likely. I do know for sure that it isn't a H. mag though.

    sand ritteri

Like I posted in your other thread, H. mags are not sand dwelling nems, and besides that, yours does not even resemble an H. mag. It's most likely and H. crispa. Cool starfish in the last pic though.

    our clown looks funny

Actually, formaldehyde (11.52% formalin) is one of the ingredients of Rid-Ich, so it can be an effective treatment against brook. Besides, those percs would have been long dead by now if it didn't work.

    Show off your Clowns!

Well post some more pics (side shots please) because I think you have a nice rarity on your hands. Oh, and sheldon, your clown fish is an A. clarkii, commonly (and incorrectly) called a sebae clown. FWIW

    Show off your Clowns!

Right Rod, that's no tomato. You may have had the ultra rare A. thiellei on your hands funky, at very least an A. leucokranos (quite rare as well). I hope you didn't sell it off as a $10 tomato...

    My New Clowns!

All "onyx" are A. percula (true percs), but not all A. percula are "onyx". The onyx variant describes when the color in-between the first and third bar of an A. percula is black along with a black dorsal fin. Yours are not the onyx variant. Beautiful clowns none-the-less.
