Also Reefkprz, how long will it take your coral to start growing. I have mushrooms and zoas, I know you said that you feed 5-7 times a day ( i do not have the time nor think I would) but do you see noticable grown in weeks or months?

I have been trying to find any information on the real purpose of these lights and have not found a solid answer yet. I have a 6 bulb HO with 3 12k and 3 Antic, how should I arrange the bulbs in order to cycle my lights better. I am new to coral reef tanks. I have no coral at the moment.

What other equipment do you have? is it just the pump or are there other filters involved that are running into your sump. Sounds like it was sand that settled after the water was cloudy and it gets everywhere in your system, no big deal, you can siphon it out or leave it in :)
