Here is a picture of my 1 gal pico. Sold everything except a few things from my 10 gal I could not part with.
1 gal
7 watts PC lighting 7600K
10 watt heater
Filter the tank came with HOB
1 Green Clown Goby
1 crab
Blue/Purple mushrooms
Green Star Polyps
Feather duster
3 Different Colors of Zoas
Yuma Ricordia
I do weekly water changes of 2 cups.....
I know this sounds funny.

He is actually not as big when you see him. I think that plexi glass makes things look bigger when you photograph through it. But he is a nice size and not those tiny gaunt ones you so often see at the stores. Eats well all frozen and flake foods.

thats a really nice setup. do you have any trouble keeping the water parameters good with such a small tank?

You could have saved money and just put everything in a milk jug unter a lamp and swirled it up every so often haha. kidding of course

Thanks for the kind compliments, usually one gets frowned upon when we post these kinds of little tanks.
I actually don't have any troubles at all. I am treating it much like my 10 gal I use to have. I do weekly water changes on it, keep the water topped up each day, feed the goby and all is just fine.
I only do top up once a day, we have central air in the home and that really helps out and also for the heat issue as it stays at a constant temp all the time.
I do have to clean the front and sides every other day but it is so minimal.
I don't have a snail in there, with the crab it just becomes a dinner issue. So it is one or the other, the crab is more of a character than a snail would be. I also don't feel there is enough algae for the snail in this size of tank. The crab he eats anything and everything I give him.
The only issue I did have a while ago was a touch of cyano from the move of everything. I have a "magic" pill to kill that for good. So it was not a huge issue for me.
Its cute and I get alot of comments from company about it. Not something I would recommend for someone new to this hobby and I am certainly no expert either but have kept fish in general for over 20+ years.
I will post some more pictures soon, I need to get a good shot of my "million dollar" ricordia so I can have it properly ID. It was sold to me as a Yuma but I think it is more of a Florida.
