wow 1 month and you already have coral? thats really fast. IMO, i would put waay more rock in your tank. this way, you have more bio filtering and it will look better and you will have mounting places for your coral. i am guessing that you have about 8 lbs in your 12. Well for my i have about 20-25 #'s in my 10 and it looks wonderful and works well for mounting and a huge cave for my shrimp and blenny =D IMO add cured LR from a local PERSON, that has had the rock in their system for quite a while. you can get LR from local persons for about 2$/# also a GSM will not do well in a 12. they get to be over 6 inches long. also, you cant even consider pairing it.

when i say 1 month old i mean tank has been cycled 1 month.
All params are good and steady at 0, PH 8.4 1.025 78-80deg
Looking to adding about 10-12lbs of LR this weekend
Have 8-10lbs right now

wow - sweet deal on the cleaner shrimp.
Be careful adding the new rock. Make sure it is RIGHT out of a tank, cured and everything. Adding rock is a very easy way to recycle a tank, and your livestock will not appreciate that.
Also - if you already have 8-10lbs now, that must be some pretty dense rock. 12lbs all but filled my 12g aquapod.

looks better. yes get rid of that maroon and buy a pair of ocellaris or true perc's
