1 of my green star polyps is not opening

i have gsp on each side of my tank along with some other corals (hammer,toadspool, zoas) but one of the gsp has stopped opening. the one starts to open in the morning but closes after about 1 hr or so. the tank parameters are the same, nothing has changed and all the other coarl are doing well. any ideas?

Have you moved it at all??
As long as you have the purple there they can sometimes be stubborn. Is there anything on it picking at it??
I had a blue leg hermit crab of all things actually pulling away at the polyp the purple area. They are not suppose to do this but this guy did. He no longer lives with me....

Just watch and see if anything is bothering it or if you flow is to hard directly on it they may not open up fully either.

Ours closes for a long time every once in a while. I have no clue why but in about 2-5 days they open back up.

i have two of them too and i have one that only opens half way up every month maybe! I dont think it will be around long!
