well a nano tank deserves a nano stand...
This is the frame, now i have to sand it and get some siding. Than its gonna be stained! :)

lol well it was my 1st one. I figured that everything together would weight quite a bit. I jumped up and down on it to make sure :) ...plus its my moms floor! LOL im so addicted to this hobby.
p.s. i think iam gonna do a theme tank. Are arcans the brain lookin coral? I do like zoos...

well unfortuantly i destroyed the stand lol...i had a rough day and decided to put some siding on the stand to finish it up. After not cutting the panels i needed correctly i stomped it into the ground! *&^% me, ive decided it will sit on a dresser in my room. My gf prob wont be happy about this but all well! Any lighting ideas are appreciated.....my next order from my online supplier will include a aqualife 115 skimmer and a refractometer!!!!

how much are you wanting to spend on lighting? i would do a two island structure if i had to redo my 10g with two par38 spotlights on them

the par38 spotlights huh??? They also make the strips? I think ive seen those! Good thinking nike...Ya im thinking two decent sized, not round rocks will do..because all the frags of zoos i get will prob be on the pawn things or more LR.

par38 is a bulb that screws into light sockets. ecoray has some cheap ones as well as evolution led.

o i thought u were talking about the spotlight shaped ones with the leds in the bottom! hmmm i think im confused now lol. I will look into these brands nike! Are u talking about a kit type thing?
If i do remeber their not that bad on the wallet

Ya same ones. I looked at my suppliers site and its gonna be like $220 for two. Im thinkin 20000k for the blue effect u like?!?!?!

if you are doing mainly zoas and lps, i would go with the evolution led fixture. they should be less than 150 for both and should give you enough par for zoas and lps. and maybe even some sps

Any prefrence if u had to choose one....theyre about the same $. The evolutions i can only find on the auction website, they have 3" fans built in. I thought that was kool! The par38s have more color options...

I could use some stocking ideas...i wanna cycle it with mysis, is this kool? Im thinking by about the 4-5 day ill throw a fish in! Some kind of goby or sm dootyback, maybe a sm basslet! Think this will be ok with all my zoos? Also thinkin of a brittle star. I have a banded sea serpent but the brittles are kool too!
My heater, ati bulbs for the 36, hob filter, and a korilia come tommorow!!!!

eww i dont like this! I need to get a new light fixture and a piece of aclyric for a lid! Right now this ill have to do....

This is the 36 for those who have never seen it! :) I'll donate a couple rocks to the smaller tank when i feel its ready. Also just got ati bulbs in the shipment for this w00tw00t...notice the pretty korillia. It has a great fan flow and is much better than the one before!

Is that a pump on the back wall, I see? I distinctly remember someone commenting on my placement of my pumps on the back wall, they stated they belonged on the sides.... but who made that statement.......????
Any ways looks good on both tanks, looks like progress is coming along for you!

LOL dont player hate.....its a protien skimmer...besides i meant powerheads. That is strictly filtration along the back wall :) . This nano is only my second tank. Thanks, im determind to get this nano going. Im just worried about my 1st summer coming. I might have to turn down the heaters a little. Although it dosent get that hot in WA.
