10 gallon questions

Hello everyone, Well my tank finally settled down, the aquascaping is not that good but I think it will look good once I get alot of corals n stuff.

I have a few questions:
1. Can I add a cleanup crew while my tank is cycling?
2. Can I add purple up when my tank is cycleing?

As far as question one I am going to say "no" and with question two, you can but I wouldnt. It want do alot right now. I would wait and save your money.

What is purple up? I am guessing something that will boost coraline alge growth? That could be useful, a hair alge outbreak killed years worth of coraline alge in my tank, once I fully get rid of it this purple up could help renew my tanks color. :happyfish

i heard that purple up just makes your calcium levels higher so it would increase the growth the coraline algae. i would do everything after cycle.
