i have the thirty....getting the bigger at christmass so im making sure i know what to put in it and so i have more time researching on the fish im gettin

if i were you i would get the tank soon (and by soon i mean now) cuz once you get the tank. it will take awhile to setup with equipment lr,ls, and last but not least .. cycle which could be up to 6 weeks!? im not sure how fast your eel grows but he probably will grow quite a by the time you get a new tank

i think it should do ok by then.....it has alot of caves and it better cuz its along 30 gallon so he has more bottom room.
