10k xm bulbs

whats your guys take on the xm bulbs compared to ushio or another brand? iS it worth the price difference being lower or do you get what you pay for? thanks in advance

I got a friend that has used them for the past month and the growth is pretty good but the color is perfect. I will be geting them once I change out the bulbs in 6 months.

Its what I am using and I love the color. I also am getting some good growth.

I don't have experience with the 10k bulbs but I do have a 20k xm de mh. I love the color...blue...but not too blue imo. Accents coral colors well and still looks whiter than a 20k of a mogul base.

I love them so far. Supplemented with VHO actinics. Great color!

i've got both 10k's and 20k's on my 75, one side 20k and one side 10k. The 20's are blue but IMO not too blue, the 10's are extremely white, I've questioned the 10k's ability of coloring up corals.

IMO the Ushios are yellower than the XM's. I switched to the XM's about 4-5 months ago and I'm happy with them.

the xm's are a mogul base too, not double ended or am i wrong?

you can get them in both.... i have the 10ks on my tank and i really like them.
