I have this 12 gal nano i got from my neighbor a good 8 month ago who had to move out of state. I all ways wanted to do the salt water thing so i took it. well after the move it got all out of whack and everything died even the 100 + bristle worms that were hiding. so i took all the rocks out and started over and from the help here have been rolling along good for four months now
. so now i would like your opinions on some stuff to get to complete my set up. rite now we have 1 clown and some snails and hermits with one piece of some kind of soft coral. my 7 yr old want another fish friend for the clown and i want some color of more soft corals. i also think i need some more rocks. here are some pics of what i have now. thanks

rescape the rocks to make what you have taller and more attractive.. add some caves, cliffs, and openings so that the fish and water can go through the rock.. as far as a buddy for the clown. maybe some sort of shrimp goby and pistol shrimp? Your 7 year old will enjoy watching the goby keep watch as the shrimp digs the burrows and tunnels and then closes up the entrace and night when both shrimp and goby sleep in the burrow.

What kind of lighting do you have in there? The rock looks pale!
new pic update.
Its a old nano cube so it has the one compact bulb and its a double white not the blue and white.
I also added some more live rock. should be good now with the rocks.
also another question on salt? what to use or is better?
1 use regular see salt and dose?
or
2 use sea crystals with the additives all ready in there.

i have one store telling me one thing and the other saying to use sea crystals because its hard to dose a small tank
