12 Gallon Tank

What would be a better choice for a fish only 12gallon tank, a pair of Percula Cownfish or a single clownfish and a neon goby?

Can't put a pair of clowns in there. Too small IMHO. Only one clown, no neon goby.

IMO, a pair of clowns should not be kept in a tank of less than 25 gallons.

i had a pair in my 12 and they did fine.

i wouldnt risk two in a twelve unless theyre really small and they'r brought up in that tank together. And since the tank is so small i would expect one to get very territorial towards the other unless bought as a mated pair.

Adult clowns who have never seen each other before can live peacefully together in a small tank, even without being a mated pair. I just don't think 12 gallons is much swimming space for two.

You can start looking into inverts to put in with the clown too. Like a small cleaner shrimp and a sexy shrimp.
