i know what you are talking about be in the little sps crew. still working on setup my sps tank it has been a long time coming and it is getting close.

I think that's a Stylophora. Is this the coral that you're talking about (see attachment)?

Nope - the one in front of that. I think you can see a little bit of it in the corner of that last attachment.

This is the one, correct? It's an A. Polystoma. The 5th picture is a closeup of the coralite structure and polyps.

I honestly couldn't say. Some frags that you may see, weither it may be in the genus Acroporidae, Agariciidae, Pocilloporidae, Poritidae, etc., are naturally the color brown and couldn't be colored up even if they were in the correct environment. Plus, lighting alone won't color up the corals. Water chemistry also plays an extremely important role.

Thanks! I got that one about 2 months ago. It was a light pink/purple when I got it. It's really darkened up since. I'm hoping it'll color back up when I run the Ushio's more :)
