What do you think about 12000K Metal Halide bulbs.

richard rendos Active Member Apr 11, 2002 #5 I personally like and use the 250 watt 12000K on both my tanks. I have been using them for about 2 years now. Corals have always seemed to respond well, growth rates are good, and color is really nice.
