I would X the eel and the maroons. The eel puts a pretty big strain on the bioload and it looks like you plan on keeping alot of fish. Im not going to preach about over stocking but it would be wise if the eel was out of the selection. The maroon clowns get kinda mean and i would fear for the butterflies, who are kinda delicate

I picked up a Yellow Longnose and Copperband, the Longnose apparently had ph stroke
and the Copperband I have no idea,The only clue is some of the mysis in garlic is around where he is hiding and he nipped my mushroom.I never saw him really. He was at the bottom just sitting there like he was gonna die soon...Then he all of a sudden rushes into the cave with a mushroom. And haven't seen him,but saw glimpes of his bottom fins.
I hope he is just shy.Because this is more than 85$ worth of wasted fish for today and yesterday, and maybe $105

P:S oh and the Longnose died 10mins ago RIP Riley Jr.

You know, I will be very surprised if even after all of this you still consider Butterflyfish hardy, completely ignoring what others have been telling you from day 1.
Seriously, what did you expect?

Hey it was the lfs's fault it looked fine there were no symptons and both fishwer nearly dead by time we exited the store,But I asked my dad to check the ph 2 times....and he didn't.And I kinda wasn't 2 smart about putting a Snowflake Moray with Butterflyfish, the Moray ate the Copperband.
But also, these fish stores are STUPID! There was a Fremblii Bluestripe Butterfly, and the lfs sold it 2 to some people with a 12-gal reef
.And yes I have listened to you guys.I decided to cut down on Butterflies and get a few rather than only Butterflyfish.Like people said fish like variety usually.
It was kinda my fault also_On a sharp turn I dropped the bag.And it was pretty hot.Alot of little things caused this.
Oh and I wasn't paying attention to the fish at all because I had to keep on taking care of my dog.

I know most Butterflies are hard to take care of.I wasn't taking it 2 seriously,I've been going with Butterflies with good success rates.I think of alot of Butterflies a challenge, but these fish are what made me start the hobby.I spended years to get a tank like this 1.It happened I wanted to have the fish I enjoyed before the hobby.
I am also going to watch the acclimation video a few times to see if I forgot some things to acclimation.
I hope this stocklist will be better for you guys
Atlantic Longnose BF
Four Spout BF
Threadfin BF
Yellow Tang

Why would you be exiting the store with nearly dead fish? If that store is so stupid don't by from them.... hello!?! If you don't have another place around you buy on line. Reg. long nose bf are hardy fish that are easy to care for. The pearlscale is excellent too. Do not waste your money on copperbands and other difficult bf. when there is better choices.
