Sweet, thanks for the full tank shot
~ you're stand looks absolutely awesome
, it came out really great (as does the tank of course). Definitely going to have to check out those powerstrips, I'd really like to get rid of my coralife triple powerstrip.

I keep coming back and looking at your pictures, this tank is off tio great start I cant wait to see it matured and filled in. you have some nice pieces in there so far. keep the pictures coming.

Thanx reefkpZ,
I think im going to need a calcium reactor real soon,Im having a tough time with dripping kalk.I just cant seem to get it in sink with my system. Its gravity fed and its becoming to be a PITA.I also just switched salt brands from Red Sea Coral Pro to Oceanic. It seems that the Oceanic lacks in alkalinity content and without tweaking it my PH took a dive to 7.7.Im glad i caught it before it crashed my tank.I did sustain some damaged to some of my stock however, but i think everything will recover. I have parameters back in balance now.I knew that the switch from the 75 to this tank went to smooth

Your welcome Scopus and thank you for the compliment .
I have some more rock fabrication to do yet,im going to attempt to hide my 2 powerheads.Im still trying to decide if i really even need them though. The Dart gives me 3600gph and the return pump 500 gph.I may just shut them off for awhile and see how my SPS react. My fish however seem to enjoy all the flow.

More than welcome, and more than deserved! You did a really first rate job! I've seen some magazine articles on PH hidden in rockwork like what you are doing, and they actually look pretty cool. Personally if you can do it, I would leave them in there.

Here are a few pieces i picked up this week and i possibly scored a nice deal depending on if it makes it or not, while frag shopping today I ran across a Tyree red prostata colony that had already been sold and i have to tell you i would have bought it if it wasnt sold already It was OUTSTANDING!.I noticed a broken off piece laying next to it and bought it for $5 .Polyps where extended and it looked fine so i took it and mounted it when i got home,it still looks good but we shall see. I also picked up a Duncan with 3 heads for $60 ,i dont think he saw the third head and neither did i until i got home.

Those are some very nice peices. Did you get them from online or from a local supplier? Either way they are very nice.
I love trying $5 frags. I hope yours does well for you.

They where all from LFS .The larger pieces where $30 each.I thought that was a good price.

Thanx,
The Hawkins is coloring up very nicely,I like it a lot.The tang is like a fat kid going after a chocolate bar when i drop some food in there lol.
Yes sir it is a Naso and hes coloring up nicely,it weird how he changes colors like a mood ring.He will go from black to gray in seconds.Part of the reason i got him was because my over fed lazy lawnmower blenny stopped doing his job along time ago and the second reason is because its a beautiful fish.
I fear my 125 isnt going to be big enough for him in a year or to so im all raeady making plans for next tank.Im thinking a inwall 210 or bigger for next year,I found it very relaxing for me to build setups, and ive learned a lot over the last 2 builds.
Finally got a chance to snap a few shots of the tank. It just sucks that it was first thing in the a.m. or late at night. I will try to post some from the middle of the day when both the daylight & actinics are running. Here is our Naso Tang & our Powder Blue Tang. Again, I will try to get some better pics, and I am also planning on updating my "120 Bow Front" thread with some FTS & coral pics!

Nice looking fish,My Naso Tang is coloring up nicely and my Yellow died suddenly. The yellow looked great was eating like a pig and then uped and died 3 days after i put it in tank.
I was thinking about getting another tang but i have decided against it.Im going to hold off on any more fish for the time being.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your fish. It always sucks when you lose one, especially when it is for no apparent reason.

That BLOWS! I really like the yellow tangs, but I had to get the Powder Blue, which is super nice looking, especially for the price I paid! So get another yellow tang, or possibly a blue hippo or a powder blue! LOL Seriously though, sorry to hear that, and of course we all know, these things happen, but I HIGHLY suggest the Powder Blue, by far my coolest fish, in my opinion, my wife says the Naso is still her favorite! Sorry about the quality of pics, the lens for our Canon broke and it's tough to get good quality pics, through glass & water, with all of that movement!
