just wanted to share a few pics of my little slice of ocean.the system has been up and running for about 7 months now and is my first reef tank.lighting is two 250 watt 10,000k ushio along with actinic strips.i use a berlin turbo protien skimmer and a k2r calcium reactor.xenia is out of control and i have to weed some out about once a month,mushrooms are also spreading all over the tank but so far so good!!!........................bob

Great tank...how do you keep your tang from munching all your macros? No matter what I do, he seems to know that is the leafy stuff I don't want him to eat.

Beautiful tank! I've got a 75 gallon and would love to upgrade to a 125 someday......shhhhh, don't tell hubby I'm evening thinking about it!LOL!! Hope your tank just gets better and better

i was down the keys a few months ago and picked up some halimedia(i think thats how it's spelled)when i was snorkling.halimedia is a very tough calcerous macro,but it grows like crazy and must be trimmed every couple weeks.if you do get some keep an eye on your calcium level. thanks for the comments and i'll post more pics later.....................bob

hey bob your tank looks great i also have a 120 looks like yours all but the sand i just cant get rid of the brown alge i guess thats what it is, whats your secret your sand looks great could you email me and let me know if your tank was like that at first mine is 4months old looks great excedpt for the sand any help would be great again nice tank thanks pat patrickfox4@msn.com
