12g nano cube

ok let me start off by saying i am very sick right now so searching has not gone the way i want it to. I am looking into getting a 12g nano cube and was wondering what kind of filtration you guys are running on them. should i get a skimmer? if so what kind? keep the original filter? stuff like this. I am sorry because i know this has to be posted before
so please help a sick guy out

ok some questions... Purigen, Chaeto what is this? witch one is the plant thing? and instead of filter floss can i use a regular filter from a penguin or something? also did you put mud and a small LR in the back with the plant?

chaeto is the plant. Its a macro algae and if you do nothing else, i highly HIGHLY recommend putting some with a light in one of the back chambers. It worked magic in my tank especially if you are new to saltwater and getting used to it all, it acted as a little helper when i was learning what "over feeding" was and kept the nitrates in my tank from going to overboard.
Basically i would never set up a tank in the future without it

got my self a 24 gallon aquapod today!!! will be picking in up with in a week or so. it already has some live rock and sand and it has random shrooms around the tank!!! is the back set up the same as on the one nano cube? can i still do the set up nano-newb did on his?
