And since it isnt that much stuff in ur tank now ur best bet is to just.....
Mix up a couple buckets of saltwater...
About 2 (2 gal buckets) or so
And scrub the rocks really good. Dunk them a couple times and shake the off in one bucket. Scrub again and pull as much off as u can. Dunk again and repeat as needed.
Then before adding back to ur tank dunk in the other bucket and shake it off then place them baack in ur tank!
Then after that contiune to pull off as much as u can

crabs could work too, you just need more in my opinion. Like 8-10 crabs, and a fighting conch or something. Make sure the conch is bigger than the crabs so they dont try to take its shell. Most people on here are biased to snails, but I like the crabs. They are funner to watch. I'd just feed less and try and get the nutrience under control.
Try and take it out as much as you can, as often as you can. I had a algae problem for about a week, so I got every piece of algae out, and then did a 1/3 water change, needless to say, it never came back....
Try and get it under control, before it is too late.

Everything went in the tank on Wednesday. The larger snails seemed to stay in place with the little ones taking off all over. Progress seems to be slow. I did a water change on Thursday and removed some of the stringing grass. That stuff really smells!
Pictures this afternoon.

Pictures ---
I have rearranged some of the rocks, so they may look different than the first shots. I also seem to have something growing on the live sand.

The snails are starting work. It seems they eat the most at night. I have been doing water changes every week removing about 2 gallons of water along with some alage. I have cut back feeding to every 2 -3 days. Been testing and all water specs look good except PH is 8.4, is this o.k.?
