140 Gal upgrade -opinions needed

Hi all need advise on the design of this setup I am upgrading to 140 gal and would love some opinions on this design:

I can't believe I got this right on the first shot? No comments?

The only thing I can see is where your skimmer dumps I would keep it away from your return so you don't have bubbles in your DT

Thanks I did not think of that my current skimmer is in the sump so it is not an issue. I still can't belive I got it right!!!

Well the more I look at your pic I think you should have all of your dumps going to the same spot that way you will not have any bubbles in your DT or a rush of fresh water going to your DT

ok so I should have everything dump in to the return (left side where the mag 12 is) side of the sump?

Yeah IMO I think that is best...

I'd dump everything in the left side then have 3 baffles between that and center, put the return pump center, then 2 baffles and the fuge right.

Devil Dog and Prime311 Thanks for the input. This is what I decided on last night. The sump I am going to use has three parts but only to separators (existing baffles) I will dump every thing on the left side with a tee to the fuge on the right for extra flow and return from the center. I think I will have to add extra baffles (let me know if I have to add them and if so How high?)

I would have your pumps in the same spot. and if you could add a baffle to the right side so the water will have to go under it...

Ok like this? But what is the point of the extra baffel on the right. Sorry if I am being a pain????
