14K 175 watt Metal Halide Bulb - EVC Tech

has anyone ever tried this bulb. its fairly cheap on comparison to the rest and im thinking of purchasing 1 or 2 of them.any info. would be great

I have a friend that runs them and they have a good look to them and corals look awesome.....Alittle to much blue for me though, but his tank looks good!!!!

Don't let price be the deciding factor......Do some research on different bulb/ballast combination.

yes, i would agree with this statement ,but i bought a 14k hamilton and paid a pretty good grip for it so im hoping that i can get away with one lesser quality. iv been running the same halides for a year now and im staring to get an algea out break i cant seem to shake.( im hopeing its the lighting) so hopefully this light will work out ok for me.
