IMO, as long as you are able to keep up on the water quality and water changes, you can add something else. If you want another trigger, I would recommend either a Sargassum or Blue Jaw trigger, and add him next, then the Harlequin Tusk, then the Tang, Picasso, and the Emperor.

Sure, I think you can add another fish. Either a trigger or foxface should be fine.

I test the water weekly and plan on doing at least weekly water changes to keep everybody healthy. Do you have a recommendation of another colorful/interesting fish that could go with the others outside of a trigger? I am not sold on adding another trigger I just figured those would be able to handle their tankmates. Thanks

A Foxface should be fine with those fish, either a normal or Magnificent Foxface. Foxface arent aggressive fish, but they get big enough to be left alone. Also fine would be an Eel or Dwarf Angel or Toby Puffer or large Clown(Tomato or Maroon Clown).

Alright I am sorry to run this by everyone again but I was hoping to find a little more info about a couple of fish. Here is the list I am going over to determine the last addition:
1 maroon clown
1 porcupine puffer (not sure if compatible with dogface, I have read that you cannot keep 2 dogfaces together)
1 magnificent foxface
1 eel
I think having an eel would be cool but my fear would be how big most of them get, at some point they would possibly get big enough to eat the fish right? I also cant imagine trying to get one out if I needed to with all my liverock. Is there a species that does not get huge? Also any other advice on these last suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Okay just to throw it out there I have modified the list slightly.
dogface puffer
picasso trigger
yellow tang
emperor angel
zebra moray
I had debated on leaving the angel off but they are such beautiful fish. However if the angel grows really fast and something slow growing would be better, I read somewhere that triggers of the rhinecanthus (sp?) species have a decent chance of making it together. Any truth to that or would the angel be alright? This is all bearing in mind in 3 years big tank expansion. Thanks again

That lists sounds fine. You can't keep 2 similar puffers together as they will probably fight. A Porc and Dogface I dunno, but thats why you can't keep 2 dogface together.

Not to beat a dead horse or anything but I have slightly modified my list after much deliberation. I am trying to accomplish a tank with fish that have personality, similiar diet but also with a variety of color. I promise this will be the last revision:

Dogface
maroon clown
picasso trig
niger trig
emp. angel
Here is where I am stuck, I want to add one of the following to the list but I am not sure which one
blue line grouper
blue hippo tang
lunar wrasse
Or any other blue/green fish that could hold its own in an aggressive tank.
Thanks again! By the way the order I listed the 5 is the order I am planning on entering them into the dt with the exception of the one I am not sure of. Does that sound good?
