150 GAL OR 180 GAL?

I say the bigger the better. I wish i could go back when i purchased my tank 1 year ago. I should of went with a 225 or larger. Dont get me wrong i love my tank. I guess i will just have to buy another tank lol! good luck with your tank make sure to post pics when you get it rolling

135 gallon fish tank. i have a humu humu yellow tang hippo tank two tank raise clowns and a juvi emperor angel.

If you can swing it, I'd say look at a 240gal over a 180gal. Basically the same dimensions, except obviously the 240 is 8 feet, where the 180 is six feet. It opens up a a few fish options, like Naso tangs, and is a thoroughly appropriate home for tangs in general.

i wish i could swing the 240 but i dont have the extra 2 feet where i wanna put the tank. already put down on a 180 so the store will hold it in stock for me. I WISH I WISH I COULD!

Yea, there certainly isn't anything wrong with a 180gal. It is quite the tank. Just for the Naso tang and Crosshatch trig I have in 240gal, they just enjoy all of the 240gal, I really couldn't see them in a 180gal. Plenty of good other fish though!

yea the reason for upgrading honestly is my wife is about to drive me nuts about a puffer fish. she wants one real bad. so i decided to upgrade to make her happy haha. not to thrilled about doing away with my reef tank thou.
