Is there any store regardless where but it would be interesting to compare the price among our locations.
How much do it cost to get a 150 gallon (72x24x24)
How much do it cost to get a 250 gallon (96x24x24)
My location sells $500.00 for a 150 gallon! <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />
No luck with the 250 gallon within my location.

That's about right. ***** here sells their 180 for a little less than $600. I know the manager there and he said he'll sell me the whole set, which includes the tank, canopy, stand, and glass top for about $1200. Try looking for used ones as they can be at least 50% cheaper as a new one.

Hey, try e-bay for a used one (or maybe even a new one), or ask you lfs if they have any used ones. I got a 35gl cheep, someone sold it back to the store the day before b/c they were getting a bigger one. We've been able to get a few things used (still in great condition and looking new)
Could also wait for sales, might want to check local papers to see if anyone is selling thier tank.

Thanks for the post and I am hoping to see more more posts regarding the " cost-shopping-around" for such large size. I did not realize that there is so bunch of underage in this forum! So no wonder why there isnt that many posts. I lives in Tennessee and I am hoping to see the pricing range around the neighbor states and Florida.
Wiscousin is far away from here and the price for 180 gallon is incredible great buy! Please can you be specific the size? length/deep/tall. Thanks
By the way I have seen some aquarists having 250 gallon and wonder why they are not bothered to share the pricing information? Could be custom-made? or whatsever. Oh well.....

a 250 for 325 thats less than what i paid for my 75 i paid 399 with stand light canopy and glass top

I bought a 180 gal for $800 with everything. Stand, lights, fluval 404 and gravel(freshwater tanks right now until the fish die), and heaters. I live in California.

hey REEFER, can you provide farther information on that 180 g for $300 please..that'd be like FINDING the holy grail or the city of El Dorado;you figure maybe $100 or so depending on location for S&H more than worth it

This guy won't ship aquariums. Only pick up. He has larger tanks as well. I have no idea how he gets the prices he does. He is just outside Detroit. The tanks are All glass tanks and I have had four of his tanks for well over five years with no problems. None of his tanks are drilled but he does that for an upcharge.
