Which would be better for a 110. Will be using mogul bases and electronic ballast. Also which wattage is easier to find bulbs for ? Should I run any t-5 bulbs? It's going to be a retro fit in a canopy with 4 4.75" fans out the ends for heat extraction and cool air. This stuff is driving me to edge of quiting.

Recently read that 100 watts of MH reaches 12''. I'm not sure how deep 110 aquarium is, but maybe this helps in determining the wattage.

110 is 30" deep. That being said maybe I should go with 2 250's

250s at least. If you're going to go heavy with high-light demanding stuff then 400s might be something to look into.
