150W MH and T5....SPS?

First off my tank is kind of recovering, Im not adding any SPS or clams anytime soon. Maybe a month or 2, the tank it self has been up for about 2 years.
Im getting an ARO 150W MH kit tomorrow and I plan on putting a phoenix 14K bulb in there. Along with the MH I will also have two 24W T5 HO bulbs.
Total of 198Ws together all over the standard 29.
Could I keep SPS and a clam?

if water paramters r good, i dont see why not.

You should be good to go when light in concerned. Water parameters need to be better than good to keep SPS and clams.

YEah thats all I was concerned about was the lighting. I know water has to be perfect, for right now It is going to be a softies tank.
I was just asking for the future.

150w and t5 is great for sps. I have 2x150w with Phoenix 14ks over my 65g and my growth is very good with amazing color.
Just make sure your water is good to go, like calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, pH, temp and specific gravity.
