Stupid questio0n here, please??
HI,
I have had a reef for almost 4 years and i am NOT much for the DIY stuff.... I am DIY dumb.
Well, I was told to get rid of my canister fiilters ( an ehiem and fluval ) because my nitrates are running very high.. I have a 4-5" DSB and about 150 lbs of Lr in a 75G. I also riun a backpak skimmer with biobale.
Well I wanna sh**tcan the canister filters and make a fuge/sump. I think they are the same thing..Should lower my nitrates.
Anyone know what I will need to make one? I have plenty of old tanks hanging around the house. I was thinking about a 20G.

macroalgea
lights for it
??
I can put on eof my heaters on it too, right??
I have NO idea what Im doing can someone give me a recap of what to do? OR how to do it?
