Put trim pieces on it to hid the flaws. It will look better. You can do some corner edge trim pieces of the edges and some kind of design baseboard for the top and bottom.
That was the orginal plan, but since its goin in the living room the ol wifey had to throw her 2 cents in. I think its more of the grain of the wood thats bothering her. Im goin to try to throw a couple more coats of paint on and try to please her.
Finally finished the trim. Went ahead and took the front piece of wood off and replaced it also. All i have to do now is caulk, paint and put the hardware on and it will be done.
neighbors kid helping from the inside
So i got it filled yesterday. Im still waiting on the salt and sand cloudiness to go away and i also ordered a new heater so hopefull everything will be done by next week. Ive still got to get some glass tops made so my lights will have somewhere to sit on top. I threw my t-5's that are going on the tank just to see what they look like. I think it will be enough light for this tank
This is turning out to be quite an impressive tank. I have been watching for a while now. Do you have a stock list yet? And I'm assuming that you are doing a reef tank judging by the lights correct?

Thanks, as far as stock goes im not doin reef. Its gonna be a predator tank. Ive got a 3inch clown in there and im goin to try and add one more of something else. Im kind of waiting to see what kind of, if any, cycle its goin to go through. I hope none at all. I transfered eveything from a est. tank so maybe not.
