175 and stand

I have a glass tank and homemade stand that a friend of mine wants to sell. The best I can tell it is approx. 175 gallon glass tank (96 x 18 x 24) with two drilled holes in upper back (has been patched but patches can be removed). Stand is home made and has some water damage because of a seal leak on bottom-back of tank (seal does need to be replaced). Other than seal problem the tank is in real good shape, stand needs some work. im from indy, and always looking for a new project. but honestly my girl would probably kill me if I walked in with a 175 gal. I dont even really have anywhere to put it, but.......how much would you consider reasonable?

man i'm from south side indy, bought my tank in feb. wish i would have know about this. that is a great deal. by the way i have not lived here long do you know of a good lfs.

Jarcmill ... looking to get rid of it ASAP. Not wanting to "rip" anybody off, but on the other hand, I don't want to be "ripped" off either. Make me a reasonable offer (worst that can happen, we'll have to try again on a price that is to both sides fair)

Davanti, P.A. is probably the best place in Indy. Check out the I.R.C. link under the coral section of this board and we can get you hooked up (maybe even join the I.R.C. "Indiana Reefers Club"). All are welcome.

sorry about the long wait....i talked to my girl today and "since I am just a student right now" we both (cough cough) think we shouldnt spend much money on a new tank right now. dont think I would be able to offer you very much for it. sorry about the false alarm, and good luck....

OK, OK .... have been told that the price will go down to $225.00 or he is going to take it to the dump and distroy it. I can't seem to get the owner to realize that he'd just be wasting any $'s that he might be able to get out of it, but there's no changing his mind (wish it fit in my house). So to recap ... price has dropped to $225.00 and if not sold by end of June ...
SMASHHHHHHH. So come on, this is a good deal.
