My dad bought me a 180 Glass cages, w/ dual built in overflows w/ return hole. I was thinking, instead of getting a new return pump, and replace my current Mag 12, i'd just buy 1 or 2 Turbelle's. Would 2 be fine, the model 6060?? thanks for the feedback

Congrats on the tank! Is this going to be an upgrade from your 125, or set up in addition to it?
I think you would be fine running a Mag 12 as a return pump with supplemental flow. Two Tunze Turbelle Stream 6060s probably would be enough supplemental flow for all but an SPS only tank. The Streams would probably lose their effectiveness after 4 or 5 feet, but with careful planning of the return plumbing, you should be able to have a system with relatively few dead spots.

Actually i was thinking that because the 2 overflow holes are 1 1/2 inches, so i don't think a mag 12 would be enough to make it work, would it? and thanks for hte info. and i was thinkin of putting the terbelles on each side of the tank and then the return facing the front glass and then down diagonaly
oh yes, and the 125 will be upgraded to the 180, and my 125 will be my sump/fuge

That's a monster sump. I would sell the 125 or have 2 displays and get something in the range of 40g's for a sump.

i donno i wanted that extra volume, how the sump would be is on of the overflows goes rightinto the sump section, and the other goes into the fuge which flows into the sump. There're 2 1 1/2 inch holes, what size pump will handle return on that?
