i was talking to a customer of mine today.
i am staining his 4000 sq ft patio.
we had a huge storm come through yesterday and the power was out and still is in some places anyway,
he mentioned he was worried about his fish so of course we got talking and he said he has an 1800 gallon bow front salt tank.
also a 290 gallon anemone tank.
i didnt see it i was at his 2 million dollar weekend home on the lake.
he did say the tank itself was $45000
must be nice

the way i got there was my friend who doesnt do decrative concrete pours alot of concrete for builders and this guy had the home built by him.
the only reason i stained it was because the guy he hired to score a pattern in the patio screwed it up.
although i might get to stain the front drive next.
apparently this guy invented three way calling and sold his business for a ton of cash.
i heard his main home is around 7 million.
he looks like he is only around 45 yrs old.
when i see him on monday i will ask if he has a pic of the tank.

yea he has a wife but havnt met her.
its amazing what you can buy if you are loaded.
his security lights are led not flood bulbs, the home surround sound system was almost $50,000,on the back covered patio it is air conditioned without even being closed in just blows a/c down when he has a party,he bought the lot with a house on it for almost $300,000 then buldosed it for this to be built.
i didnt even go into the home and look around .
he told me the patio furniture was $30,000
crazy

I work around Aspen and Telluride and see stuff like that all the time. These people will remove a multi million dollar house just for the lot. Crazy to most of us.
Do you do scalpted shotcrete? Im thinking of tring it.

closet thing i do to that is deco pier.
shoot the concrete on a wall and mold it into rock forms and stain it.
it is becoming popular indoor/outdoor.
faster and cheaper than rock
i also did a pool deck for the owner of palm harbor homes.
9 million dollar home.

The closest company to me that does it is out of Denver. Someone told me they get 65-95 a sf. I already do the shoring so just thinking about trying to get into that. Everything is slow and just would like to have one more thing in the bag. Its funny what rich people will spend their money one.
