Very nice job, I wish I could do such great job. Question: What is your opinion on open vs close the top cover.?

Hands down, open top with either egg crate or screen to prevent jumpers. You need that gas exchange.

Ya u do silverado. That's a wall hammer coral that's not doing to well.

I had a skunk cleaner shrimp for prob 4 yrs. He passed awhile ago.
I replaced him with this guy and he's a BA! Not in the same tank but these two kinds shrimp r actually seen which I think is kool.

I like that little drain line you got goin from the cup to the drain on the skimmer. That's a really neat idea. Awesome.

That's the air intake

Skimmer cup drain is the ugly grey and black thing with the blue knob.
