These are my first pics, didn't get everything and they're with a new camera that i haven't figured out. can anyone tell me how to take pictures through glass??? i can't get the camera to focus on anything. anyways these are just some pics. the fish by the way is a barred goby

I would say more than lighting it may be a reflection on the water conditions. I can't tell you what may be off, but I can tell you corals are the first ones to tell you if something isn't right.

what kind of lights u have,based on the anemone,and the buttons,they seem to be reaching for more light,if the lighting is not adequate enough,your corals will not do to well,the orange sponge does not need much light so that will be fine af far as light is concerned

yeah a sponge, nice start! star polyps will very quickly turn the rocks into a tank that looks mature and more natural. must say u have gone for non-normal things to start your tank with! normalyl people start with botton polyps and stuff rather than anaemonies and urchings (love that spelling! <---) . but your sponge is lovely

LOL sorry just notised that you have button polyps! :eek: also some mushrooms could make the tank look less bare
