the sick tank where the powder blue with ich is? how are you treating the ich? if doing hyposalinity, the star probably isn't going to care for it.
also as for bulb replacement, normally the wattage of lights that come in the hood are the only ones you can use. usually need stronger ballasts to drive higher wattage bulbs. I don't have an Odyssea though.... so, can't tell you from experience.

Just,PLEASE dont try to put 96 watt bulbs in that fixture...you will SOOOOOO regret it!!! :scared:

Gotcha on the light...sick tank is the same water as the big tank I'm treating it with ruby reef. he looks much better but I'm going the whole 6 to 7 before he graduates back to the big tank. He's like an ich magnet. He's the only one who seems to get it..never would have got him had I known but he's grown to be my favorite fish. He even recognizes when I grab the food ..all his fins go up and he prances like a dog
