I have my 55g tank now for 6 months. I have about 60lbs live rock and about 70lbs live sand. All has been going well. I have been adding fish slowly first, yellow tail damsel, then 3 stripped damsel(bully), followed by 2 false percula clown fish and finally 6 line wrasse. I have the clown fish for about 3 weeks, they took to the surrounding quite quickly and have been very active, but a couple of days ago one clown fish stopped being very actice, have stayed in the very top right corner of the tank and seems to swim on one side. He comes down occasionally eats a little then goes back in the corner. He hasn't lost coloration, does not have any marks or spots, seems to breath a little heavy but I cannot undersatnd what is happening. The other clown fish is still very active and sometimes seems to keep his buddy company for a little while then moves on. Can anybody help me understand what is going on and if i can help my clownfish if his ill.
2nd cloudy water, I have 110 gallon filter and a 100 gallon sea clone skimmer, i think sufficient for my 55g tank I change my carbon and filter about every 6 weeks. My water has always been very clear even with algae growing on the walls and on the rock, but once again starting a few days ago my water just got cloudy and will not clear. I changed my filter and carbon about 2 and half weeks ago, i added salt water about the same time. whats causing my water to cloudy. its a milky cloudiness. All my tests show my water to be fine.

Can you post the test results? Also how much do you feed your fish and do you have a maxi jet, I'm asking this because i'm wondering if the one clown is trying to get more oxygen.

You might be feeding the fish to much. I only feed mine about once a day and they are doing good.

I have to say you are feeding way to much, once a day max and just a pinch! I bet you could easily get away with once every 2 days!
Also, you should not have air stones in a marine tank! They can cause more problems then you really want, Thnk about it, most marine fish don't come to the surface to get O2, add a couple more power heads and point 1 so that it breaks the waters surface, that and any filtation will give you plenty of O2 exchange!
You said you had alge growing too , try cutting back your lighting cycle, it will slow down the alge grown , cutting back on the feeding will help cut back the alge growth too! I bet your water will clear up very soon.
