2 kinds of powder tangs together???

if it is a 90 gallon that you are refering ot, i would have to say no, i would not add 2 tangs to a 90 gallon at all, especially wiht the other large fish you have in there, it could get crowded quick

i have two tangs in a 55 i put them in at the same
time,that way they didn't have territory already
established. my are good friends,one is a powder
blue the other is a purple tang,i was told to
stay away from two or more that have the same
body style,but i'am sure there's many different opions.

Definately not with all the other fish you've got in the tank. Even without all the other fish you'd have to be lucky if they were to get along at all.

I would not put two powders in anything smaller then a 150. Definately not in your 90 if that is what you are talking about, its overcrowded now.

Salty they are of the same group or family (Acanthurus).

salty was referring to their genus.
fish in the same family can be very different...
also, all tangs are in the same family, all damsels in the same family, and so on...
a genus is just a smaller group with more closely related fish.

Drew (acanthurus) is the GENUS that covers powder blues, browns, achilles. (Paracanththurus) is the hippo. (Zebrasoma) is the GENUS that covers yellow, purple,scopas, and sailfin. So like I said they are not the same genus.

you put the same group/family. Family is another word. I thought you meant the family Acanthurinidae...
sorry if it was my mistake, but family is a completely different word...it does not mean genus.
