Okay...I had to buy it...it was BEAUTIFUL!
hahaha
Anyways, my local fish supplier had a gorgeous maroon for sale (actually, he wasn't going to sell it but I just had to have it). So...I bought it.
Here's the problem...I know it's extremely hard to have 2 maroons in the same tank. Has anyone ever had any success with this before?
I had a little gold banded maroon in my 8 gallon, and a small false perc. in my 40 gallon. I switched out those two, and put the new maroon in with the gold one in the 40 gallon. So far, they are buddies...swimming together and nudging up together and also doing their own thing in the tank as well. The new one is about an inch larger than my first one.
If they are getting along this well now, can I hope they will continue to get along and possibly pair up? Or am I just asking for one to get beat up?
I was hoping by putting them in the tank at the same time one wouldn't have been established and get crabby.
Well...here's hoping for the best...
