how do you like the aquafuge? I have contemplated doing a minibow for a LONG time, but I want to do all sps. I would put a halide over it. :D I wanted to do a large fuge on the back as a filter, but I am not sure if it would work

It is working good for me. I am about to go sps, but I think I am going to go with mostly the lower light sps's and a squamosa clam. I am adding another 32 watts over it before christmas. My present from my girlfriend. I will probably not put many acros in there. I might try one just to see how it does. My refugium is doing grea. When I put it on I had .05 nitrate now it is undetectable, and I can look on the outside of the refugium and all you can see is pods. I like it. You can see pods sometimes fly in from the outlet tube. Good Luck. Just be careful on the backflow incase a power outage.

When I mean backflow I mean if the power shuts off how much water is put back into the tank. It usually goes even with the water in the tank which is enough to cause an overflow. I added a computer battery backup surge protector to the pump running the refugium. It will run about 2 days on that battery backup. Here are some more pics. they are old ones...

Fourth tonight. I have to trim back the macro about every week or two. I think it has really helped me stabalize my nano quite a bit...
