2 skimmers better than one?

So it looks as if I will be finally getting a better skimmer. I was curious should I bother to keep the old one running. It obviously doesnt do a very good job since I am replacing it but wasnt sure if it would be of any use to keep it running. the new skimmer is a euroreef going into a 55gal tank, the skimmer is rated for 90 gal.

I don't see any reason to run one good skimmer and one bad one...Kudo's on you new skimmer choice

sell the other one, the euroreef will take care of all your skimming needs.

More is always better but if that one isn't really doing much just stick with euro. I'm thinking of making a custom skimmer so I have two running.
