Just thought I owe this board some updates on my tank. There was a heat spike in LA and I lost some of my corals and inverts...but there are some good progress in my Poci., brains and torch. Hope you like. I will be just growing and maintaining my current corals, perhaps make it into a Poci. dominant tank. I gave away my leathers because they were growing way to big and are not so good for my sps. This is to all the veterans on the board that helped me out starting 2 years ago. Anyone seen Tizzo around lately? Shout out to Murph.

i havent seen a pic of ur tank in a while man and its lookin good! i know about that heat spike back in july it got hot! luckily my chiller worked wonders and i didnt have any issues other than a $500 july electrric bill complimentary of so cal edison!
anyways ur tanks lookin awesome im glad its made it these 2 years and ur Poci is freakin huge man.... that thing has grown fast huh??
where are u located dreuster?

Tizzo, Miz Capricornis...thanks! Sorry to say, I lost my caps during the heat spike as well. They were doing so well too, almost lookin as good as your caps...but ah oh well. They take up too much surface area anyways LOL.
Murph, thanks! I'm in Hollywood (Is there any other place to be?). The pocillipora was a tiny frag when I got it. And now it's HUGE. I recommend this SPS for anyone who wants a low maintenance SPS. This thing survived the heat spike. I'm allll about low maintenance lol. I already did my time testing chemicals in Chem 1A and Organic Chemistry.

Dejaco and Wildjosh, my tank is 90 gallons and is rather tall and thin. I regret not buying a thicker tank with more forward and back space...but I like the height it has. I'm running Remora HOB skimmer like Beth did and a CPR refugium with cualerpa. Lights are 14k DE MH Pheonix bulb.

very cool dreuster i have 2 different poccilopora species that are doing well and growing fast but urs seems to have grown like a mad man lol
anyways hollywood huh thats cool i used to go out there alot b4 i settled down lol
well if ur ever lookin for a free frag of one of my acros hit me up!
