I currently have an orbit 24" 2x60w over my 55g corner bowfront and it fits fairly well considering its a corner bowfront tank and lighting is hard to find that fits. I am thinking of upgrading and am considering the 20" 1x150w HQI Current USA Sunpod Metal Halide. Does anyone have any advise to offer about this decision considering the tank dimentions?
I was looking at T5's but if I am going to do it, I may as well go for it and get the MH.
Thanks for your input.

I'd like to hear this to. I am getting ready to set up a 54 gal corner bow, and have a 20 inch 150 wtt sunpod I want to use on it. (the light is on my 37 gal now).
I am going to try and get my husband to help me build a canopy for this tank, then I can just hang my light. then add a couple of t5s for actinic

The sunpod literature says that it emits enough blue light that actinics are not needed. I am guessing by your post that they mean it emits the blue end of the spectrum and not the blue that you get visually from the actinics?
