20-25 Gallon Tanks

Can I see some nice 20 - 25 Gallon Tank setups? I don’t want to see QT tanks, just nice filled up 20-25g tanks. I started a 25 gallon tank in my office, because I was missing my fish during the day at work. I would like to see what all I can squeeze into a 25g tank.
I only want to put 1 or 2 fish in the tank
, but don’t want to feed them live fish, so I think I will get non aggressive fish. What are good fish for a 25 Gallon Tank?
Any information will be appreciated...
Thanks.

Can you give us some other details about your setup? I'd love my 25 gallon to look that good one day and I am in the process of upgrading components

i have the odyssea lights which i believe are like jebos mh version. I have been using them for over a month and absolutly love them. survived a drop in the tank while on and run awesome. I see no reason to spend more money on any other kind of fixture

well i almost thought of gettin jebo...there are lots of people who says theyre good, others will tell you that you get what you pay for....so i'd rather be safe then sorry. I personally like satelitte fixtures, they are a very good price and comes with a fan, moonlights, etc. I got my dual 2x65 for 131...its work great, you get two switches so you can control actinic and reg. lights
I have a DIY refuge that is a 5gallon tank...i drilled a hole, put a bulkhead in and it flows back to the tank by gravity, and a pump puts water into the refuge....and since its such a small refuge i dont have baffles, i just make it so the water flows around the tank till it comes back to the main tank. The refuge has chaeto and rubble rock and live sand in it. I have probably 25-30 lbs in the tank, i've lost count, lol. thats about all, i have a heater, live sand...corals which include zoos, mushrooms, GSP, xenia, and candy cane coral. I have two clowns, a firefish, a sexy shrimp, peppermint shrimp...and then an emerald crab, hermit crabs, and nass snails. Its nothing big, but i like watching everything in it, and soon i'll be putting more zoos in it
i dont know what all ya want to know, but if you have any other questions let me know. oh, i have no skimmer on account of it overflowing way to many times for me to put up with...i also have a 15w fluorescent light i believe it is over my refuge.

Thanks for all the info... : )

I saw the picture you took from the side of your refuge, but if you get a chance, can you snap a few more pictures of your refuge and post them on here? I have never setup a refuge before.
I have a 29 Gallon tank I can use for my 100 gallon setup and a 5 or 10 gallon that I can use on my 25...
Thanks...

- 25g Tall Tank- 20lbs Sand
- 10 lbs LR (Soon to be 30)
- 200gph water flow
- Bio Wheel rated for 50gallon tank
- 130w PC Lighting (1-12000k Daylight, 1-True Actinic Blue, 2-Moon Lights)
- 1 Heater
- Water Levels Rock... (4 weeks of cycling)
(Plan to buy a skimmer in the near future)
Current Inhabitants:

- 2 Camelback Shrimp
Fish and Inverts I plan to add when tank is safe:

10 hermit crabs
5-10 snails
1 Clown (Not sure what type)
1 Firefish Goby
1 Jawfish
So I am on week 4 and I want to know if it would be safe to move this rock from my 100g tank that houses some mushrooms to this tank??? Will I need to do something special to acclimate this coral??? (I’m going from 130w in 100g to 130w in 25g)
Pic of said ShroomRock:
As you can see, they need better light which is why I want to move them to this tank...

Also, I might move these two as well:

haha, i'll do what i can, maybe wax can put his nose in too...are your levels stabalized?? if it is cycled then you can transfer...but you prolly would want acclimate them like normally unless you know its the exact same..then again, youre not getting them from a store so contaminents from their tanks prolly isnt as likely...so if they're the exact same, then maybe so...but if not maybe accl some....haha....someone else chime in for a definite...better safe than sorry though

Ok, I just tested the tank again and here are the water parameters I tested:
-Temp: 78F
- SG: 1.024
- Ph: 8.2
- Ammonia: 0
- Nitrite: 0
- Nitrate: 0.5
So, does it sound safe enough to move the rock with the shrooms on it to this tank?

Also, should I wait to get 30lbs of LR in my tank before I add a Jawfish? I have 10lbs in the tank now and plenty of sand to burrow into... :happyfish
